Important note: If you need a hotel and haven’t reserved yet, for the Royal Sonesta please contact jennifer.vitale@abbyy.com to see if we still have discounted room rates. If not, here are some others within walking distance:

FAQ 1: Getting to The Stephen F. Austin Royal Sonesta Hotel

The hotel is within close proximity of landmarks such as the Texas State Capitol, Lady Bird Lake, and the lively entertainment district of 6th Street.

• If you’re flying in from outside of Austin and not renting a car, your best option is a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. The airport is just over 7 miles from the Royal Sonesta and will take around 20 minutes to get there.
• If you’re driving to the Royal Sonesta and are looking to park at the hotel, please note that they only offer valet parking for $55 a night. Self-parking is not available on hotel property, but you can try Peak Parking which is around the corner from the hotel.
